Description
Apple is hiring a PNR-CAD Engineer to develop and support utilities and flows that improve physical design productivity for Apple’s chips. The role covers infrastructure automation, floor-planning, clocking and optimization, custom routing utilities, power-grid creation, signoff flows, verification scripts, and collaboration with timing, power delivery, synthesis, physical verification, vendor, and other CAD teams. Candidates need a BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; experience with ASIC physical design, TCL/Python scripting, LLM/GenAI methods, complex algorithms, and P&R flow development is preferred.
