Azora is hiring an Optomechanical Design Engineer to own the productization of compact pointing, acquisition, and tracking subsystems for modular optical ground stations and space terminals. The role covers precision optical assembly design, structural, thermal, and optical performance analysis, pointing error budgets, actuator and sensor qualification, field alignment and integration, and support for ground-station acquisition and tracking campaigns. The position is onsite or hybrid in Tempe, Arizona or the Bay Area, California, with expected travel for field deployments and vendor or manufacturing visits.
