Description
The University Police Officer provides sworn law enforcement and public safety services to the University community on the 11:00 pm to 7:00 am shift. Responsibilities include enforcing state and university laws, conducting mobile and foot patrols, responding to incidents, investigating and documenting criminal and non-criminal matters, and providing safety information. The role requires Pennsylvania Act 120 certification, a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, background and drug and alcohol testing, and Act 153 clearance; a bachelor’s or associate degree and previous law enforcement experience are preferred.
