Description
Black Hawk College is seeking a Police Sergeant to assist the Chief of Police in administering the Police Department, supervise departmental activities in the Chief’s absence, and serve as a Peace Officer for the college district. The role includes patrol, incident response, investigations, traffic and parking enforcement, report approval, public safety technology oversight, and coordination with campus and external law enforcement stakeholders. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three consecutive years as a certified law enforcement officer, Illinois peace officer certification, and a valid driver’s license.
