Description
The City of Torrance is hiring Police Services Officers for its Police Department. This non-sworn public safety role supports current and future staffing needs and may involve supervising female inmates. Duties include prisoner booking and care, property and evidence management, parking enforcement, court liaison, subpoena processing, community outreach, vehicle fleet coordination, public assistance, complaint handling, report preparation, and crime-victim support. The position requires four 10-hour rotating shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, and offers swing-shift and graveyard-shift differentials.
