Description
The Municipality of Rijswijk is hiring a Policy Officer for Environmental Legislation (Omgevingswet) focused on inspection, supervision, and enforcement. The role develops and implements environmental law policy, translates legislation into processes and work instructions, manages the policy cycle, advises the executive board and municipal council, handles complex questions and complaints, and supports operational management. It is an HBO-level position requiring relevant supervision and enforcement experience, knowledge of the General Administrative Law Act and Environmental Law Act, and familiarity with municipal organization. The position offers 28 hours per week, a gross monthly salary of up to €5,624 based on 36 hours per week, and an annual contract with the intention of a permanent position.
