Description
The Polishing role inspects, cleans, and polishes glassware, flatware, plate ware, and other service equipment before returning them to service; maintains the dish pit, ice machines, coffee and water stations, refrigerators, and related equipment; completes dish-pit setup and breakdown; trains new employees when assigned; and supports other restaurant stations. The position requires English communication, organization, attention to detail, teamwork, food-handler certification or the ability to obtain it, and flexible weekend, night, and holiday availability. It is based at 550 Madison in Midtown Manhattan and pays $11.35 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, flexible spending or health savings account, commuter, referral, career advancement, recognition, dining discounts, and paid time off benefits.
