Description
Mayo Clinic is hiring a full-time Polysomnography Technologist to prepare and hook up patients, perform and score sleep studies according to AASM criteria, and set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot polysomnographic equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current RPSGT or CPSGT certification or proof of enrollment/completion in the AASM A-Step Online Self Study Modules, basic physiology knowledge, communication skills, and basic Microsoft Windows computer skills. One year of sleep-lab experience, AASM-accredited sleep-study scoring, and an associate degree in Applied Science or a related clinical program are preferred. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with no weekend schedule, and compensation is $26.52 to $39.32 per hour.
