Description
The Polysomnographic Technologist provides treatment, management, diagnostic testing, monitoring, and care for patients with sleep and wake disorders. The role analyzes and records physiologic data during sleep and wakefulness, performs polysomnographic studies, and uses oxygen, positive airway pressure, adaptive servoventilation, and nasal or oral airway maintenance. It requires a PSGT or RCP license, BLS certification, recent experience, and knowledge of sleep physiology, respiratory function, medical electronics, and related pharmacology. The position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, with a weekly pay range of $50.65 to $70.90.
