Description
The Plumbing Instructor provides college-level instruction in plumbing, teaches assigned courses, evaluates student progress, prepares lesson plans and syllabi, uses instructional technology, and maintains classroom and laboratory supplies and equipment. The role requires at least four years of journeyman or technician-level plumbing experience or three years of experience as a certified plumbing trades teacher in a vocational or technical program, along with communication, computer, teamwork, and instructional skills. An associate degree in plumbing or P-1 or P-11 plumbing licensure is preferred, as is prior community-college teaching experience and Spanish proficiency. The position may require evening and weekend hours and involves indoor work with occasional lifting of instructional materials and equipment.
