Description
Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include filling and labeling medications, refilling Pyxis, delivering medications to patient care areas, preparing IV admixture solutions, answering telephone calls, maintaining medication stock and storage, and mentoring and training students. The role requires a Registered Pharmacy Technician license, a high school, certificate, GED, or equivalent, and at least one year of experience; hospital experience and PTCB or ICPT certification are preferred or may substitute for the required certification.
