Description
The Hotel Engineer performs guest repair requests, preventive maintenance, inspections, complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and pool-heater repairs, and advanced troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems. The role also maintains maintenance inventory, coordinates with other shifts, trains and mentors engineers, and may supervise work in the absence of supervisors. Required qualifications include a valid driver’s license, refrigeration or electrical certification, CFC certification, and applicable state and federal licensing; preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an HVAC/refrigeration technical diploma, and at least two years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
