Description
Mainstay Maritime is seeking an experienced Port Engineer to oversee safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of its marine fleet on the Great Lakes. The role serves as the primary technical representative for assigned vessels and focuses on preventive maintenance, repair execution, regulatory compliance, dry dock projects, budget control, vendor/contractor coordination, safety, and lifecycle asset management. The position requires extensive marine engineering and vessel maintenance experience, technical troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical ship systems, and frequent travel to ports, shipyards, and vessel locations.
