Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is hiring a Medicine Registrar for a three-year Basic Training programme in the Auckland region. The trainee will rotate through North Shore, Waitakere, Auckland City, and Middlemore Hospitals, receive supervision and mentorship, and participate in teaching activities such as Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs, and bedside teaching. The role requires at least six months of General Medicine or Medicine subspecialty runs, preferably twelve months or more, PGY3 or higher at commencement, and eligibility for Medical Council registration; RACP basic trainee membership is desirable. The selection process involves ranking and scoring, followed by a review day or interviews depending on applicant location.
