Health New Zealand is hiring a Basic Medicine Trainee Medicine Registrar for the 2026 training year in Auckland, covering the Auckland, Waitematā, Waitakere, Northshore, and Counties Manukau regions. The role provides three years of broad clinical exposure across teaching hospitals, with rotations, supervision, mentorship, and opportunities for physician exams, grand rounds, journal clubs, and bedside teaching. Applicants must be at PGY3 or above at commencement, have at least six months of General Medicine or Medicine subspecialty experience, and meet Medical Council of New Zealand registration requirements; RACP basic trainee membership is desirable.
