The University of Florida is hiring a Post-Doctoral Associate in Theoretical Chemistry to work with Dr. Ramon Miranda Quintana in the Department of Chemistry on unsupervised and generative machine learning for chemical applications. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and applying hyper-efficient unsupervised learning techniques with an emphasis on representation learning and generative methods. The position is based at the Main Campus in Gainesville, Florida, requires a PhD in Chemistry or a related area, strong Python and algorithm design skills, and experience with machine learning and AI tools for chemistry.
