The Wistar Institute is hiring a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join Dr. Brian Fuglestad’s laboratory in the Center for Advanced Therapeutics. The role advances initial screening hits into active chemical probes and drug leads by iteratively synthesizing and testing inhibitor analogs against peripheral membrane protein targets, with potential screening of novel targets. Candidates need a PhD in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field, at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication, and experience in synthetic or medicinal chemistry; biophysical or biochemical protein-assay experience is preferred.
