Description
Alfred University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Materials Science Engineering to work under the direction of Prof. Scott Misture. The role involves synthesis, characterization, and properties of oxide ceramics for energy storage and conversion applications. The researcher will conduct in-situ studies using electron microscopy, diffraction, scattering, and spectroscopy, focusing on redox-active oxides and complex oxides. Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and participating in outreach activities are also expected.
