Description
The Post Sputter Engineer will develop and qualify lubrication and tape-polish processes, lead NPI activities, coordinate post-sputter runs, document procedures, and use Minitab and Spotfire for data-driven process improvement. The role also involves FMEA, process verification, IMS activities, and collaboration with Maintenance Engineering, QA, Analytics, and other teams. It is part of Western Digital’s Early Career program and requires a degree in materials science, engineering, physics, chemistry, applied science, or a related field.
