Description
The DoD installation subject matter expert serves as the installation subject matter expert for DoD Official Postal Center (OPC) and Personnel Service Center (PSC) at CONUS locations. The role manages and implements DoD postal requirements, acts as the primary Contracting Officer's Representative for the Official Mail Contract, represents the Force Support Squadron, and serves as the Classified Control Officer for classified material. It also includes passport-agent duties involving review of birth or naturalization evidence and identity documentation. The position requires U.S. citizenship, at least one year of specialized postal experience, knowledge of postal and security programs, and may require a security clearance, travel, and work outside normal duty hours.
