DTU National Food Institute is hiring a postdoctoral researcher in large language models and agentic AI for its AI Research Team on the Global Pathogen Analysis Platform. The role develops multimodal LLMs and coding agents that extract, standardize, and match scientific metadata to pathogen samples and datasets, investigates LLM post-training and agentic reinforcement learning, builds agent environments for bioinformatics pipelines, evaluates scientific analysis workflows, and leads research and software development projects. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent, experience with LLM post-training, agent development, Python software engineering, and CI/CD or distributed systems; the position is full-time for three years starting 1 December 2026.
