Description

The Indiana University School of Medicine is hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow to join Dr. Joshua Huot’s laboratory in the Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology. The fellow will conduct basic and translational research on cancer-induced neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction, cachexia, inter-organ communication, and muscle weakness, using mouse models, in vitro and in vivo approaches, and advanced imaging. Responsibilities include developing research methods, conducting experiments, planning projects, interpreting data, authoring presentations and publications, managing the laboratory, and training personnel. The role requires a relevant PhD, mouse-handling and mouse-model experience, neuromuscular physiology or cancer biology research experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-analysis software.
