The Indiana University School of Medicine is hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow to join Dr. Tasneem Sharma’s lab in the Department of Ophthalmology and Glick Eye Institute. The role focuses on aerospace medicine and space biology, including human analog studies of microgravity, neuro-ocular health, and countermeasures. Responsibilities include designing and performing experiments, using microscopy and molecular assays, analyzing data, preparing manuscripts, coordinating laboratory personnel, and presenting research. Applicants need a relevant Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, a strong background in human physiology, translational research, or space biology, and experience with human analog studies or related experimental models; molecular biology, stem cell, ex-vivo perfusion, mouse breeding, and rodent ocular surgery experience are preferred.
