Description
The University of Pittsburgh is hiring a full-time Postdoctoral Associate for its Center for Space Biomedicine to conduct independent research at the intersection of space biology, mitochondrial biology, ferroptosis, oxidative stress, multi-omics, and translational human health. The role involves ground-based simulated spaceflight experiments, spaceflight mission collaborations, mitochondrial and astrocyte research, long COVID studies, drug repurposing, and AI-driven discovery, while also contributing to grant development, manuscript preparation, and mentoring. The initial appointment is one year, with renewal expected for one to two additional years based on performance and funding availability.
