The University of Florida Department of Biostatistics is hiring a fully funded Postdoctoral Associate in AI Bioinformatics and Single Cell Multi-omics at its Gainesville campus. The role develops machine learning and deep learning methods for large-scale single-cell DNA-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and spatial transcriptome data, and also develops statistical approaches for multi-omics integration, causal inference, and disease research. Responsibilities include methodology and software development, data analysis, manuscript writing, conference presentations, and grant assistance. The position is available immediately, with initial funding for two years and a potential second two-year appointment based on need and productivity.
