Description
The Education University of Hong Kong is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in its Department of English Language Education for a 12-month project examining intergroup communication between Hong Kong Chinese and Mainland Chinese university students in Hong Kong. The appointee will support the research team and perform academic duties assigned by the Principal Investigator. Applicants need a PhD in the social psychology of language, sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, or a related discipline, relevant post-PhD experience, expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, strong English and Chinese proficiency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with medical and dental benefits, leave, and contract-end gratuity; applications are due by 19 August 2026.
