Description
This one-year postdoctoral fellowship, renewable for a possible second year, is an in-person research position at North Campus Edmonton. The fellow will join Dr. Xingyu Li’s collaborative research group and conduct machine learning and artificial intelligence research focused on multimodal foundation models and related areas, including vision-language models, trustworthy AI, robust generalization, model evaluation, efficient learning, adaptation, representation design, multimodal reasoning, and structured understanding. The role includes contributing to ongoing projects, developing an independent research agenda, collaborating with graduate students, and publishing in leading venues.
