Description
CEA’s Military Applications Directorate is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to develop and validate a multi-element analytical method for powdered solids using laser ablation coupled with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The work covers accuracy, detection limits, in-house standard production, flux and crucible optimization, isobaric-interference reduction, and uranium isotopic dating, with applications to contaminated soils and uranium ore concentrates and collaboration with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Karlsruhe. The fellowship is for two years plus two one-year renewable periods and is based in Bruyères-le-Châtel, Essonne, France.
