Description
CEA’s Military Applications Division is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to develop spectral filtering algorithms for electronic structure calculations using a plane-wave basis. The fellowship focuses on applying density functional theory, improving iterative diagonalization methods, reducing algorithmic complexity and memory usage, and modeling convergence. Year 1 involves mathematics and prototyping; Year 2 involves implementation and testing. The position is based in Bruyères-le-Châtel, Essonne, France, and runs for two years with two renewable one-year periods.
