Description
CEA is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to develop a high-performance, in situ four-dimensional framework for tracking microstructural evolution in atomistic molecular dynamics simulations. The role involves extending clustering and graph-based analysis tools, developing data compression strategies, and linking individual defects to collective material behavior under extreme conditions. The position requires a PhD in materials science, physics, or high-performance computing, strong knowledge of molecular dynamics and crystal defects, and experience with C++, MPI/Kokkos, or high-performance computing environments. It is a two-year fellowship with two renewable one-year periods at CEA’s Bruyères-le-Châtel site in Essonne, France.
