Description
The Artificial Photosynthesis (AP) group at Brookhaven National Laboratory is looking for Postdoctoral Research Associates to advance the science of integrating molecular components and interfacial studies for solar-to-fuels conversion. This involves detailed mechanistic understanding of molecular chromophores and catalysts, focusing on efficient and robust light-driven small molecule transformations like water oxidation, CO₂ reduction, and N₂ reduction. The role requires collaboration with a team of scientists, conducting synthesis of catalysts and chromophores, mechanistic studies using various techniques, and publishing results.
