Description
CNRS is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to study ion and water transport in subnanometer hexagonal boron nitride channels using machine-learning molecular dynamics with DFT-accuracy MACE potentials. The role involves developing and validating MACE potentials, comparing fixed-pressure reservoir and moving-piston water-control protocols, analyzing LiCl concentration, and investigating OH⁻ adsorption effects on ionic selectivity and mobility. The position is a one-year fixed-term contract in Paris, France, requiring a doctorate or equivalent, proficiency in molecular dynamics, machine-learning potentials, DFT, and Python/PyTorch, and French language ability at threshold level.
