Description
Umeå University’s Department of Computing Science is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop privacy-aware machine learning models for complex, temporal, and synthetic data. The role focuses on differential and integral privacy, k-anonymity, federated learning, centralized and decentralized data, local and global privacy, and large-scale privacy-preserving machine learning. The position is full-time for two years, starting January 12, 2027, or by agreement, and is funded by the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent, have research experience in data protection and machine learning algorithms, and demonstrate strong English skills.
