Description
Télécom Paris, a leading engineering school, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the vulnerability of Passive Optical Networks (PON) to potential eavesdropping using Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS). This research is part of the "Terrestrial Acoustic Listening" (EAT) RAPID project, funded by a collaboration between Febus Optics and Télécom Paris. The goal is to assess how DAS technology, capable of capturing audio over optical fibers, could exploit existing telecom infrastructure for unauthorized listening. The postdoc will analyze various network configurations, conduct experiments on real or simulated networks, and contribute to developing interface modules.
