Description
The postdoctoral researcher will develop GPU-accelerated, high-resolution simulation models in OpenFOAM to predict the initiation and propagation of thermal runaway in lithium-ion battery cells, modules, packs, and systems. The role involves designing computational frameworks for reacting flows and high-performance computing, conducting research in battery modeling, CFD, and HPC, publishing results, collaborating with Scania Industrial Battery Systems and COMPEL partners, and contributing to teaching and doctoral supervision. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in the relevant subject area.
