DESY is hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Science Methods for its Hamburg location. The role focuses on HPC simulation software, especially molecular-continuum simulations on supercomputer architectures, and research software engineering for massively parallel molecular and coupling software such as ls1 mardyn and MaMiCo. The researcher will also support the HPC and Data Science professorship in research and teaching, prepare publications, and present results at scientific conferences. Applicants must have a university degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a comparable field, a completed PhD, and in-depth expertise in scientific computing and high-performance computing.
