Michigan State University is hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar for a fixed-term, full-time (90–100%) faculty/academic staff role in the College of Human Medicine’s Cs Mott Department of Public Health in Flint. The scholar will support a multidisciplinary community-engaged trial evaluating a digital intervention with live-chat assistance to reduce pregnancy-related morbidity and mortality, with responsibilities including trial conduct, community and conference presentations, manuscript preparation, and grant application development. The position offers advanced training in digital interventions, randomized trials, proposal writing, and community-engaged research, and is designated remote-friendly. Applicants need a terminal degree in epidemiology, psychology, public health, or a related field, along with scientific writing, data management and analysis, collaboration, and time-management skills; a PhD and subject-matter knowledge in relevant areas are desired.
