Michigan State University’s Kravchenko Lab in the Department of Plant, Soil, and Microbial Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to study how drought affects plant roots and their interactions with soil. The role involves field soil and root sampling, 13C plant labeling, root structure analysis, X-ray computed micro-tomography, data analysis, and publication or conference presentation of results. It is a full-time, fixed-term position in East Lansing with a target starting date of January 2027 and possible annual renewal subject to funding and performance. Applicants need a PhD in Soil Sciences or a related field.
