Description
Michigan State University is hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar-Fixed Term to conduct computational research on biophysical questions in the Feig lab, focusing on biomolecular condensates, crowded cellular environments, and sequence-structure-dynamics-function relationships. The role involves classical molecular simulations, neural network and generative modeling, independent research, publication, conference presentation, collaboration, and mentoring. Candidates need a doctorate in a relevant field, computational research experience, Python proficiency, communication skills, and first-author peer-reviewed publications; molecular dynamics, high-performance computing, neural network development, AI-assisted coding, and interdisciplinary collaboration are desired. The position is based in East Lansing, remote-friendly, initially one year with possible renewal, and applications close on October 1, 2028.
