Description
Michigan State University’s Institute of Water Research is hiring a fixed-term Research Associate/Postdoctoral Scholar to design, implement, and support field monitoring programs for soil, surface water, groundwater, and agricultural drainage. The role involves installing and troubleshooting sensors and monitoring equipment, configuring data loggers and telemetry, managing and quality-controlling monitoring data, analyzing datasets with tools such as Python, R, or MATLAB, collecting field samples, coordinating with partners, and preparing technical reports and publications. The initial appointment is one year with possible extension up to two years, subject to funding and performance.
