The Riera Laboratory is hiring a Postdoctoral Scientist to conduct independent and collaborative research on neurocircuits controlling energy homeostasis, sensory processing in the hypothalamus, metabolic health, and models of obesity, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disease. The role involves designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, developing laboratory techniques, maintaining equipment, and contributing to publications and presentations. A doctorate in a related research field is required, while prior experience is not required.
