Description
CGS is hiring a full-time, experienced PostgreSQL Database Developer to support a data analytics and business intelligence platform serving federal customers. The role leads the migration from Oracle to Microsoft Azure Postgres, manages database environments, ensures availability and performance, performs tuning and maintenance, supports secure and resilient services, and collaborates within an Agile development approach. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, United States citizenship, and seven years of experience administering PostgreSQL databases in Linux environments, along with experience in PostgreSQL instance management, backup and disaster recovery, Oracle-to-Postgres migration, and related cloud or data-warehouse technologies.
