Description
The PostgreSQL Platform Engineer will operate, administer, and develop PostgreSQL database environments, maintain their stability, availability, and performance, manage updates and lifecycle processes, analyze Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments, support migration from Crunchy PostgreSQL Operator to CloudNativePG, and automate provisioning, backup, recovery, and scaling. The role requires several years of PostgreSQL administration experience, productive database environment experience, Kubernetes or OpenShift experience, knowledge of PostgreSQL operators, and very good German language skills. It is based in Hannover, Lower Saxony, with remote work options, and is offered through employee leasing.
