Weir is hiring a Pouring Line Operator for an onsite dayshift role in Portland, Oregon. The operator pours molten metal into sand molds, handles and prepares ladles, operates overhead and hot-metal cranes after certification, adds topping to molds, performs physically demanding mold-cart and scanning tasks, and works in a three-person pouring-line rotation while following strict industrial safety practices. The role requires communication, physical strength and coordination, ability to work safely around extreme heat, and ability to learn alloys and metal specifications; foundry experience, crane operation, manufacturing data entry, and heavy-industrial safety knowledge are preferred.
