Description
The Coat Prep prepares, inspects, labels, and moves parts in EMIT’s manufacturing facility before they enter the coating process. The role involves chemical washing, removing spatter, rust, scratches, and debris, masking and plugging, quality reporting, and maintaining organized and safe work areas. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2+ years of manufacturing, coating, or material preparation experience, physical ability to lift 50–75 pounds repeatedly, and adherence to PPE and safety requirements. The pay range is $18–$20 USD.
