Wabtec is hiring a Power Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a global team developing and validating high-power electronic systems for locomotive and mining vehicle applications. The role oversees subsystems such as traction and auxiliary inverters, choppers, rectifiers, transformers, sensors, and power electronic components; leads component qualification, testing, and panel validation; manages project execution, risk, budgeting, staffing, and resource deployment; and provides technical leadership, performance management, supplier alignment, and strategic guidance. The position requires an electrical engineering degree, 10+ years of engineering and product development experience in high-reliability industries, and 2+ years in engineering leadership or people management. The disclosed base salary is $104,800–$149,300, with health, welfare, retirement, and potential annual bonus benefits.
