Apple is hiring a Power Modeling Engineer in Austin, Texas. The role involves collaborating with architects, design, logic, and multi-functional teams to simulate use cases, project power for future projects, create test cases, model SOC power, develop IP power models, and analyze power-performance-area trade-offs. The position requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with experience in Synopsys PTPX, PrimePower RTL or PowerArtist, Verilog test benches, Python/Perl, synthesis, clock constraints, physical design, silicon characterization, and front-end simulations.
