DLB Associates is hiring a remote Power Engineer – Physical Electrical to support physical electrical design for medium- and high-voltage substations, switching stations, BESS facilities, and utility-scale grid integration projects. The role covers detailed substation layouts, grounding, shielding, cable and conduit design, construction drawings, equipment specifications, code compliance, client and project-team coordination, and support through construction, testing, commissioning, and energization. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree, a PE license or active pursuit thereof, at least five years of progressive substation physical electrical design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation; the position may require travel to any or all 50 United States.
