DLB Associates is hiring a remote Power Engineer – Utility Interconnection to support Battery Energy Storage System, microgrid, and inverter-based resource interconnection projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and energization. The role performs detailed electrical design, utility and LGIA/SGIA coordination, protection and control studies, equipment specifications, documentation, client and utility interface, and project controls, while also exploring AI and digital tools to improve workflow efficiency. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree, a Professional Engineer license, at least five years of progressive utility interconnection or power systems engineering experience, and hands-on protective relay experience.
