Description
The Distribution Engineering Technologist provides intermediate-level technical expertise for residential, small-to-medium commercial, and industrial power distribution projects. The role interprets codes and standards, develops complex site designs, prepares project and construction packages, coordinates with construction personnel and customers, resolves power-quality and jobsite issues, performs field validation, and supports training. It requires regular attendance, a high school degree or GED, 1–3 years of utility power distribution engineering or craft experience, and an associate degree is preferred; a bachelor’s degree is also preferred in non-engineering science, math, or business.
